Testimonies

...I only heard "beyond a shadow of a doubt" twice today... I was a little disappointed... and I didn't even hear "Play-zure" once... but I did hear "Tray-zure"...I would like to know who the first person was that used the phrase... "beyond a shadow of a doubt" in their testimony.... is that a 20th century invention or is it a phrase that has been passed down from generation to generation since 1830???... I think that phrase became outdated in the '70's...

it was probably the same person who coined the phrase "beyond a reasonable doubt." You know those lawyers and their wacky phrases.
